Just keep in mind that your political views are defined by what you think the best way to achieve what you see as good. Just because someone doesn't think the government should condone gay marriage doesn't mean they don't condone the moral idea of gays living committed lifestyles. Conversely, just because someone votes against prop 8, doesn't mean they are pro-gay sexual relationships.<br /><br />Prop 8 was voting on whether or not the government should grant a marriage license (and all of the legal benefits that come with it) - the moral issues of homosexuality are completely separate.
